Only just recently I was invited to go to Peru where a friend of mine has been working for the past year. Naturally I did some research before saying “yes” and the first thing I decided was that if I was going to go then I had to learn Spanish as I wouldn’t travel all that way and with all that expense without trying to get the most out of the experience possible.

Fortunately I hear that learning Spanish is not so hard as languages go but I’ve never had a natural flare for language, at least never in school, so we’ll have to wait and see about that.

I decided that it would be best to start by finding a most commonly used Spanish vocabulary list and I came across this video which I thought was an excellent start. Very easy to follow and a new way of teaching which I had never seen before.
